The Corcoran City Council adopted a new ordinance regulating the use of recreational vehicles on public and private property in the City of Corcoran (2021-429 Ordinance Regulating Recreational Vehicles.) In this ordinance you are allowed to use certain approved recreational vehicles on city streets if you have an approved city permit. You are not allowed to use recreational vehicles on County Roads, and this is not intended to allow what the Minnesota state statutes expressly prohibit. It is intended to prevent public nuisance.
Anyone applying for a recreational permit is required to know the regulations and is to abide by these regulations. The ordinance and all the regulations are available on the city’s website along with the recreational vehicle permit on the Corcoran Recreational Vehicle Permit page.
To apply for a recreational vehicle permit, fill out the application form below, bring it to the Police Department during business hours (M-F 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. & Th 7:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m.) for processing and once approved, you will receive a printed permit for your recreational vehicle. The permits cost $30 for three years.
