Floodplain and Wetland Public Notice

August 17, 2023

This is a public notice as it relates to the City of Corcoran’s Water Supply Construction Project and its proximity within a 100-year floodplain and wetlands. This project supports the City of Corcoran’s efforts to provide safe, clean, and reliable drinking water to a significant portion of the City. Having received HUD funding for this project, HUD requires the RGU to advertise about the project when it takes place within a 100-year floodplain and/or wetlands.

The purpose of this notice is to share with interested parties, the potential floodplain and/or wetland impacts and to inform the public that the project team will be submitting for a no loss permit, given the nature of the project. All ground disturbances will be restored to existing condition and will not change elevations to impact water levels or convert existing wetland areas to other uses.
