Coach Pitch Registration and Information

Corcoran Coach Pitch
Kids ages 6-7 years old are invited to participate in coach pitch through the City of Corcoran Parks and Recreation department. The program takes place from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at City Park (20200 County Road 50, Corcoran, MN 55340). Coaches pitch up to 5 balls to the player followed by hitting off the tee until contact with the ball is made.

Participants are expected to wear athletic pants and shoes. They should also bring a water bottle, baseball glove, and are encouraged to use their own bat and helmet to limit the sharing of equipment.

Volunteer coaches are needed for each team. Coaches will receive a registration refund at the end of the season for each team coached.

Fall Coach Pitch
We want to keep our community informed about an important update regarding this year’s fall baseball season. Due to the upcoming City Park Remaster Project, construction is anticipated to begin in June or July. Unfortunately, the scale of improvements means that the fall baseball season will not take place this year, as park access and field availability will be impacted throughout the summer and fall.

We understand how valuable this program is to our community, and this decision was made to ensure everyone’s safety and to allow for the completion of park upgrades that will enhance future programs and activities. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create an even better park for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you for your support and enthusiasm for Corcoran Parks and Recreation. We look forward to welcoming players back to the fields in the future!
