In accordance with Minnesota Department of Health guidance to help slow the spread of Coronavirus, the City of Corcoran will be making several operational changes to reduce the risk to our staff and the public.
The Corcoran Emergency Management Team will continue to monitor the situation and will make any additional changes in accordance with MDH and CDC guidelines.
Below is an update with regard to City Operations as of March 17:
Facilities
Effective 3/17/2020, at 12:00 pm the following facilities will be closed to public through Friday March 27, 2020, at which time further closures will be reviewed. An exception to the facility closings schedule will be the Council Meeting scheduled for 7:00 pm on Friday, March 27. City Hall will be open for residents wishing to view the Council Meeting, while adhering to social distancing requirements.

We encourage everyone to conduct business by phone, email, or through the website.
Services
The following services have been temporarily suspended or postponed:
Administration - Meeting space at any City facility for use by non-city groups. Utility payments can be paid online or call 763-420-2288 for assistance. Permits will still be processed via phone and/or mail.
Police Department – Civil fingerprinting, ride-alongs, Police Department tours, car seat checks (call local hospitals for assistance).
Programs, Events, and Meetings
The following public meetings will be available through electronic applications or will be postponed:
March 13 – Special Council Meeting scheduled for 3:00 pm
March 18 – Parks and Trails Commission Meeting (Cancelled)
March 20 -- Council Special Meeting at 3:00 pm
March 26 – Council Meeting scheduled at 7:00 pm
Fire Arms Safety Training will be held online and Field Day is scheduled for April 25 (subject to change)
