Position: Accounts Payable Clerk
2025 Wage: $27.68-$36.43/hour

The City of Corcoran is a rapidly growing community on the western edge of Hennepin County. The City is currently accepting applications for a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk

The part-time Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for data input, processing checks/ACH payments, and file maintenance of Accounts Payable, including W-9s. Balancing monthly statements for vendors and handling vendor calls. Distributing and collecting invoices for processing through Accounts Payable. As well as other Accounting duties as needed. This list illustrates the various types of work that may be performed, and is not a comprehensive list of all duties performed.

Successful candidates will possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, knowledge and application of current sales/use tax laws, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Exercising initiative, discretion and independent use of judgement over matters of non-significance will be crucial. Candidates should be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects, as well as possess an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two year degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field, or four years of experience in Accounts Payable.
Previous customer service experience.

Employment will be subject to completion of a pre-employment background check. The hourly rate for this position is $27.68-$36.43 per hour.
